&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Chia Walnut Oatmeal&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;serves 4&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4 cups water&lt;br/&gt;1 cup steel oats&lt;br/&gt;1/4 tsp salt&lt;br/&gt;1/2 cup organic raisins&lt;br/&gt;1 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds&lt;br/&gt;1/2 cup raw walnuts&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Over top for each serving bowl:&lt;br/&gt;splash of soy creamer (or soy milk)&lt;br/&gt;1/2 banana, sliced&lt;br/&gt;1/4 cup fresh berries&lt;br/&gt;2 tsp raw cashews (or other nuts)&lt;br/&gt;maple syrup to taste&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Directions:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Boil water, salt. Add oats.&lt;br/&gt;2. Cover pot with lid, reduce to simmer and cook until tender – usually 30 minutes.&lt;br/&gt;3. Stir in the remaining ingredients – simmer uncovered for another few minutes.&lt;br/&gt;4. Serve warm oats with additional toppings.&lt;/p&gt;
